Daniel N. Ankama specialises in all matters of criminal defence.

Daniel has defended in a range of Criminal matters and has a particular penchant for all

aspects of major drug conspiracies and organised crime. His down to earth and

approachable manner has led to him garnering a large client following and is constantly

in increasing demand.

​

He frequently represents clients at police stations when they have been arrested and

litigates in cases being heard at both the Magistrates and Crown Court. He is dedicated

to ensuring his clients are supported and informed throughout the course of their cases

from the point of arrest through to the conclusion at court.

  • R v LB – Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey) [2022] – Six handed murder. Represented

  • Defendant in case involving “frenzied" attack outside Romford shop. LB was acquitted

  • of murder

  • R v HAK – Reading CC [2023] – Slough Hindu Temple Murder - Two defendants

  • alleged to have operated a County Lines drug business from London to Slough. Linked

  • to Killing, which took place in broad daylight in the Car Park of a Hindu Temple. HAK

  • was acquitted on drug offences. Received widespread media coverage.

  • R v ER - Kingston CC [2022] - Represented defendant in multi handed allegation of

  • Murder. ER was alleged to be part of a drugs gang, who stabbed and killed a man as

  • part of a drug turf war.

  • R v MY - Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey) [2023] - Represented defendant charged in

  • a multi handed murder shooting involving a “ride out” where shots were fired, killing one

  • male and injuring others.

  • R v CR – Chelmsford CC [2023] Represented a defendant charged with Attempted

  • Murder whilst defending her brother in a complex case involving the stabbing of a man

  • in the chest. CR was acquitted of attempted murder.

  • R v JL – Norwich CC [2023] – Represented Ex-Norwich City player charged in large

  • scale psychoactive substance drug supply chain.

  • R v IM – Kingston CC [2022] – Represented Ex-Cardiff City player charged with section

  • 18 GBH after stabbing a man in the back.

  • R v JG - Wood Green CC [2023] - Represented Ex Queens Park Rangers player in a

  • large scale multi handed conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

  • R v CJ & PO- Bristol CC [2021] Operation Orochi - Represented defendant alleged to

  • have been the mastermind behind a very large-scale County Lines operation to supply

  • Class A drugs. Case against PO dismissed, and CJ acquitted.

  • R v JA - Snaresbrook CC [2023] - Operation Letter Cap - Defendant charged with a very

  • large-scale Drug Conspiracy which involved the seizure of 51 kilos of Cocaine imported

  • into the U.K.

  • R v OD - Snaresbrook CC [2022] - NCA led operation into large scale conspiracy to

  • supply Class B Drugs

  • R v PD & JM - Liverpool CC [2022] - Represented defendants charged with multiple

  • robberies in a Multi handed case.
